Dear TWC Alumni:

I recently decided to return to the corporate world where I will be working for my first firm out of college CSC as a Senior Consultant with their Federal Consulting Practice.    As Director of TWC Alumni Relations for the past two years, I have had the pleasure to meet many of you and appreciate all the support you provided me and continue to provide TWC.  Our organization truly provides an experience that transforms lives and opens doors to future opportunities.   You are a very accomplished, bright and energetic group of people whom I am honored to have had the chance to get to know and build TWC's alumni relations community.

I have no doubt in the years to come that all of you will play a role and continue to help TWC experience great success.  We began a great tradition of our alumni holiday party last December, re-energized and established great alumni leadership for our alumni regional committees in the Capital Washington, DC metro area, Boston, Philadelphia, Quebec, and Puerto Rico with plans to re-engage our NYC, Chicago, and Seattle ARC in the upcoming future.   Many of you responded to our Alumni Today data request which will help TWC stay connected with you as there are great plans ahead for the future.  Stay tuned for news on exciting programs and added features to the TWC Alumni Website.

I hope you will take time to visit TWC when you are in the DC area.  TWC is and can be a home away from home for all of you.  We have also opened our new Residential and Academic facility in NE DC where we now have a true campus in DC.  Much has happened in the 35 years since the founding of TWC by Bill and Sheila Burke, their vision continues to inspire our work and with your help Together Everyone Achieves More!

In my absence, Sarah Jagolinzer will be taking the lead on Alumni Relations at TWC and can be reached at sarahj@twc.edu or Alumni@twc.edu.  She has a lot of energy and has met many of you as well and I'm confident with your help, she will continue to build solid TWC Alumni Programs.

Thank you for everything and best wishes with all your future endeavors.  One last note, I challenge all of you to consider donating funds, even as little as $5, to help make a difference and provide opportunities for future generations to experience TWC (for example, if we all gave $1 each, we would raise over $40,000 that  could provide added opportunities to several students who otherwise would not have the chance to participate in TWC programs.  Invest in the future and make a positive difference!

Sincerely,

Jay C. Liwanag
